Four Intelligent Officers Bailed out

Four Military Intelligent officers who were in the remand prison over a year had been granted bail out today by paying a sum of Rs. 500,000 as a bond each at the Homagama court.  These officers were in the custody as suspect for disappearance of alleged so called journalist Praneeth Eknaligoda who is widely considered had close connections with LTTE Tamil terrorists.

Critics noted that these remand orders are not consistence with the fact that no body of Praneeth Eknaligoda has been found dead so far by the police.  There is another theory that Eknaligoda has gone to a Western country and living over there in low profile manner. Recently, a parliamentarian claimed that he met Eknaligoda in a European city.

Four more Military Intelligent officers are still in the remand custody for the disappearance case of Eknaligoda for over a one year.

Global Sri Lankan Forum, GSLF has taken the lead to arranged the bail sum of Rs. 500,000 for each Officer with other local and expatriate patriots.
