Sri Lankan Tamil in Swiss dies of Corona
A Sri Lankan Tamil residing in Switzerland has died after contracting the coronavirus (COVID-19), says the Ministry of Foreign Relations of Sri Lanka and Foreign mission in Swiss.
A Tamil named Loganandam Sadasiwam, age 60, born on 30th Oct. 1960 in North of Sri Lanka died in Switzerland. He has died in his home in Senglan County of the Switzerland. It is said that he has believed to be arrived to Switzerland as a war refugee seeking the so-called political asylum.
Sri Lanka Embassy in Berlin has informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the Swiss authorities have confirmed that Sri Lankan Tamil aged 59 died in Switzerland on 25 March had tested positive for COVID-19.
The deceased was from Punkuduthivu town in Northern Province of Sri Lanka and held residence permit in Switzerland, the Spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Punkuduthivu is a place which is close to one of the last bases of the LTTE Tamil terrorists when they were corned by the Sri Lankan security forces. After the end of Tamil terrorism war in May 2009 many Tamil terrorists were able enter Switzerland, some with the blessing of Swiss diplomats and Swiss authorities under the guise of so-called Human Rights.
Switzerland has not yet banned the LTTE as a terrorist organization but promoting Tamil terrorism and separatism in Sri Lankan in the Swiss soil.
