The National Joint Committee is against the full implementation of Federal 13A

The Executive Committee of the National Joint Committee  had issued a  press release highlighting  in detailed the adverse impact if Federalism based 13th Amendment  implemented  in its full scale.

For the last over 35 years Sri Lankan  governments did not implemente the critical  an non- practical provisions of the 13A such so called Police power to small 9 provinces of Sri Lanka and land administration rights to the provinces which would lead to Federalism and stepping to Tamil elam,  a separate state for less than 1m of Tamils living in North and Eastern two provinces.
