Demonstration against Ranil in Australia
Sri Lankans living in Australia are organizing a massive determination to protect their motherland from the most dangerous path down which the LTTE Tamil terrorist and the so called International community is guiding by Sri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe who will be in Melbourne for Law Oration 2017 at the University of Daikin.
The demonstrators will address following national issues in Sri Lanka;
- to maintains a meaningful Unitary state of Sri Lanka from the so called proposed separatist federalist constitution of Ranil Wickramasinghe ’s government empowering periphery at the expense of the Centre
- the one sided Economic Co-operation Agreement, ECTA with India
- sale of country’s resources without any evaluation to foreigners
- prosecution of war heroes to please the pro-LTTE sympathisers who supported Yahapana government in the elections.
- manipulating democracy and judiciary thro political intervention
- protecting the biggest robber of public funds at the central bank
- end the harassment of the media persons.
A Public Demonstration and Protest will be held on 16th Feb at 5 pm AT RIVER TERRACE adjoining Federation Square, Melbourne.
The protest demonstration to Prime Minster of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickramasinghe is being organised by Society for Peace, Unity and Human Rights In Sri Lanka -Vic Inc. (SPUR-Vic.), Surakimu Lanka Melbourne Ekamuthuwa Inc. and Global Sri Lankan Forum (GSLF)
