Colombo Chief Magistrate Ranga Dissanayake, yesterday, ordered the State Translation Department to render into Sinhala and English the speech made by State Minister of pro-Federal UNP government Vijayakala Maheswaran allegedly stating that the LTTE should be revived. Pro-LTTE Vijayakala who alleged to have hand in rape case of school girl in Jaffna made call for LTTE Tamil terrorist again on July 2, at the Veerasingham Hall in Jaffna.

The court is to be informed of the progress of the investigations by July 20.

Earlier President’s Counsel Manohara de Silva said that Attorney General Jayantha Jayasuriya, PC, could indict the UNPer for violating the Constitution regardless of the disciplinary action taken by her party.

Although Vijayakala recently quit her ministerial portfolio for the name sake she remains a member of parliament from the UNP who runs a pro-minority and Federal friendly government.
