Tamils lock Nigerian officials in India

A group of Sri Lankan Tamils prisoners in  the Central Prison campus locked up the inner gate with three Nigerian officials inside on Tuesday.

The Nigerian  officials came to the camp for completing immigration formalities for the eight Nigerians housed in the camp prior to their deportation to their country.

Police sources said the Sri Lankan Tamil extremists locked the inner gate from inside after the officials were about to take photographs of the Nigerian detenus. However with the help from Nigerian detenus, the officials broke the lock using a stone and came out.

The Nigerian detenus expressed their objection over the Sri Lankan Tamils act prompting the intervention of the Camp Tahsildar and police officers.

Sri Lanka Tamils are very unpopular in many countries due to their violence in the society. Many Sri Lankan Tamils with LTTE terrorist back ground are associated with various illegal activities like drug and human trafficking, kidnapping, money laundering etc. There are several Tamil under words criminal gangs are operating in US, Canada and  EU.
