SJP Wants Stern Action Against Pro-LTTE MP

The Sinhaladeepa Jathika Peramuna, SJP, a registered nationalist political party has written to the speaker of the parliament asking to get stern actions against the pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist MP, Thurairasa Ravikumara who glorified the former LTTE Tamil terrorist called Balraja in his speech at the parliament on 21 May 2026.

The SJP stressed that such speeches cannot be covered under the parliamentary privileges but it is a blunt violation of Sri Lankan constitution and promoting and glorifying a banned Tamil terrorist organization.
