Switzerland’s Role Against Sri Lanka

The main witness in the “White Flag” case against the military — a former soldier known as “Bombardier” — is living in Switzerland.

The man who claims he saw with his own eyes that Namal Rajapaksa received special privileges while sitting for his law exam also lives in Switzerland.

Nishantha Kandappah, who conducted investigations against the Rajapaksas during the Yahapalana government, fled to Switzerland with his entire family just 7 days after Gotabaya became President.

Today, those who fabricate false cases against the military will next head to Switzerland.

And the Maulavi who is giving evidence against Salley over the Easter attacks is also in Switzerland.

Now someone might say, “Switzerland is a very good country. They are keen to ensure the rule of law is upheld in other countries. They protect human rights properly. So they brought these people to Switzerland and gave them visas, houses, and schools for their children because they feared harm in Sri Lanka.”

But remember the woman who worked at the Sri Lankan Embassy in Switzerland — Gania, the barrister. As soon as Gotabaya became President, they claimed Gania Barrister had been abducted. They pinned that allegation on the government.

However, Gotabaya quickly launched investigations and uncovered the truth. What had happened?

With the embassy’s knowledge and Gania’s help, they staged an “abduction” to create a drama and blame the government in order to raise human rights accusations against it. This was proven.

If that had not been proven, Gania would today be on the “disappeared” list alongside Eknaligoda, and the Rajapaksas would be facing inquiries for her disappearance.

Switzerland then issues statements and pressures the Sri Lankan government. Sri Lanka gets cornered in Geneva. Sri Lanka’s so-called intellectuals come on Sirasa and shout into microphones: “See, embassy officials were abducted. The Rajapaksas brought disgrace to the country. This is what the Rajapaksas did.”

So we ask: Why did Switzerland stage this drama?

For a very dangerous legal maneuver against the Rajapaksas.

If so, why would Switzerland — which created such a false drama — now, with great sacrifice, keep witnesses and their families against the Rajapaksas in its country by giving them visas, citizenship, and housing?

To hang the Rajapaksas by hook or by crook? What is it to beautiful Switzerland to hang the Rajapaksas?

Those who know the West know how dangerous they are.

It was the Rajapaksas who destroyed that dream.

Leaders who go against Western plans cannot live peacefully in this world. That is their doctrine.

Leaders like these paid with their lives for the “crime” of protecting their homeland by defying Western orders. Not because they committed wrongs — but because wrongs were fabricated against them.

The same mechanism was used against Mahinda.
But Mahinda is still alive today. Perhaps due to the unseen blessings of the land where the Buddha walked.
