Pillay’s Report and the TNA Election Manifesto (2013/09/08)

We have had to delay the series of articles on Pitikiri Rathupaswala Arsenic and Western Science for a few more weeks because direct political topics have come to the fore. However, there is no lack of connection between that series of articles and the articles to be published in the coming weeks. There too and here too what we discuss is the attempt made by the West to establish the Judeo-Christian culture throughout the world using Western knowledge including the so-called Western science, based on the Greek-Judeo-Christian thought that came to the fore through the so-called Renaissance in late fifteenth century Italy. We have been saying for a long time that there is no problem in this country that is solely because the Tamil people are Tamil. Yet many organizations that claim to be engaged in the national movement do not pay attention to that. The main reason for that is the inability of the Sinhalese, and especially the Sinhala Buddhists, to think abstractly. Although they express scattered ideas about national thought, indigenous knowledge etc., I know that many pundits who claim to be engaged in the national movement cannot digest what Greek-Judeo-Christian thought is and the concept of thought in general. They too are products of that thought. They too accept Western knowledge including Western science as supreme. The whole world (we say that the worlds created by each one are different and that those worlds are based on some thought) can be seen as a whole only through abstract thinking. Although it is not a component of our thought, in order to defeat the Westerners at present, one must get used to thinking abstractly to some extent. This article too is more of a seeing of the whole rather than an analysis taking one incident after another.

We did not not know who Pillay is. She is a person of Tamil origin in the Natal region of South Africa. The Vellalas or agricultural labourers brought by the Dutch from present-day South India were also settled in this Natal region. I do not know whether Pillay is a Vellala. But in her childhood she must have been influenced by Vellala thought. One component of Vellala thought is subservience to Westerners. The Dutch and the English brought more Tamil people including Vellalas to other countries because generally Tamil people readily served the West. It should not be forgotten that Westerners have not taken Sinhalese to any country for service. What Pillay received in South Africa and in America was Western Judeo-Christian education. Harvard University, which was not important to us, is a university that provides Judeo-Christian education. Pillay thinks and desires in the way Westerners want. Pillay came to serve Obama. Whatever Obama says in public, what he wants is to destroy the Sinhala Buddhist culture which was a challenge to Westerners if possible, or to weaken it if not. Pillay’s report is for that. America is a Jewish Anglican Christian country. Pillay never asks why Obama takes the oath placing his hand on the Bible and not on the Dhammapada. Yet she complains about a Buddhist flag in the Independence Square. Saying her policy is to respect those who died in the war, she wants to scatter flowers at Nandikadal for the sake of Judeo-Christian thought. This so-called humanitarian forgets that Prabhakaran is not an innocent who died in the war but a terrorist who was deceived by the Vellalas and directed violence. She says the government is moving towards dictatorship while accusing journalists who asked her questions, forgetting that the government gave her permission to go anywhere in the country and meet anyone and that she misused that permission and secretly met a Catholic priest in Trincomalee without the government’s knowledge. She talks about the so-called rights of the Tamil people in Sri Lanka but forgets the rights of the Tamil people in South Africa. What is the place for the Tamil language and Tamil culture in Mandela’s South Africa?

Inviting Pillay to come to Sri Lanka was correct. Except for the pundits today, everyone knows who Pillay is. We do not need to tell the West about Pillay. Yet some express appreciation for certain parts of her story. Especially they appreciate her saying the Tiger organization is a murderous organization. She has no choice but to say that today. But what did she say before May 2009? Did she accuse the Tigers of recruiting children? She and other Westerners and their stooges said not to defeat this murderous organization but to negotiate with them and create a so-called peace. Prabhakaran’s Tamil terrorism is only a development of about three hundred and fifty years of Tamil Vellala politics, especially about one hundred and eighty years of Tamil nationalism under the English. For that, the Vellalas were incited against the Sinhalese by the English. This political flow is described in the work Prabhakaran, His Grandfathers, Uncles and Brothers-in-law. What was defeated at the Nandikadal lagoon was that political flow. After that, all political agreements, the thirteenth amendment, provincial councils etc. all become null and void. We have said that repeatedly.

Also, we stated as far back as 1995 in the above-mentioned work that Tamil nationalism will not be defeated merely by defeating Tamil terrorism. That was at a time when those fake patriots were rocking in the Marxist cradle. There is no solution to the so-called ethnic problem. The reason for that is that there is no ethnic problem in this country. What exists is the use of the Tamil people by Westerners under the leadership of the Vellalas against the Sinhala Buddhist culture. The solution to that problem is Nandikadal. Westerners are angry about that solution. They want to go around the circle again. The Tamil National Alliance is doing politics for that. The Tamil National Alliance today contests under the name of the Lanka Tamil State Party, the anti-Sinhala political party established by Chelvanayagam. They accepted the terrorism of the Tiger organization. Even today people like Premachandran say to take up arms. For Vigneswaran, Prabhakaran is a hero. Pillay, who falsely says the Tigers are a murderous organization, discussed with the Tamil National Alliance. But she did not discuss with Sinhala organizations. The cat has jumped out of the bag with the Tamil National Alliance’s election manifesto. It is only a new printing of the infamous 1976 Vadukkodai Agreement. As slaves of the West, the Vellalas have resumed the politics of destroying Sinhala culture and are preparing to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of helpless Tamil people again. For that, as before, weapons will be supplied by Westerners. But should the helpless Tamil people act to die for Westerners and Vellalas? What those Tamil people should do today is join with the Sinhalese and defeat the so-called elite Vellalas and Westerners who oppress them.
