Pro-Minority Ranil and Sirisena to go ahead with LTTE monument at Mulliwaikkal
Pro-minority President Sirisena and pro-Tamil Prime Minister Ranil who is notoriously famous for his anti-Sinhala Buddhists stance has given the green light to pro-Tamil terrorist’s political party TNA lead Northern Provincial Council (NPC) to build a monument at Mulliwaikkal for memory of LTTE Tamil terrorist’s guise of a civilian’s project.
However, pro-minority government who has done many concessions to Tamils and Muslims since came to the power at the costs of majority Sinhalese has downgraded the ceremony of 7th anniversary of wipe out of LTTE Tamil terrorists from Sri Lankan’s soil by undermining the morale of security forces.
Commemoration of the LTTE and erecting of monument is to be part of a sinister plan to revive Tamil terrorism and separatism and not as a legitimate “collective mourning” of the dead of civilians among the ruthless LTTE Tamil terrorists.
In the past, government did not allowed such commemoration of Tamil terrorists. However, pretext of reconciliation Sirisena and Ranil lead pro-Tamil minority government has allowed to do so while same commemoration downgraded or ignored in other parts of the Island.
Pro-LTTE, TNA who considered LTTE terrorists are the sole representative of Tamils had set up a committee to consider the proposal to build a LTTE monument at Mulliwaikkal where the final battled held and where the LTTE leader was killed by Sri Lankan Army.
