Boo Tree cut and Damage to Buddhist Worship Place in Trincomalee

Pro-LTTE Tamil politicians and Tamil extremists cut an old Boo tree and damaged a Buddhist worship place in the Nilaweliya road situated 7 km north of Trincomalee town. Tamil politicians and Tamil extremist thugs has forcefully placed some statues which are not related to the Buddhism and the had been replaced with the Load Buddha statue by Sinhala Buddhists.

To control the Tamil extremists provoked by pro-LTTE Tamil politicians Police officials were mobilized in the area.

The violent extremist Tamils provoked by Tamil politicians had removed the Buddha statue and cut down scared Boo tree at the Buddhist Worship location.
