TNA opposed building Buddha statue in Jaffna again
Pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist political party, TNA’s Northern Provincial Council has again objected to construction of Buddha Statue in the historical Buddhist temple while construction is in progress in Nagadeepa in Jaffna.
The pro-minority government which was captured the government power by using the votes of minorities in Sri Lanka is maintaining strict silence on the aggression by extremist Tamil politicians on the majority Buddhists country.
In the recent statements issued by the members of TNA in the NPC demanded to hold the construction of the statue stating that it is hurting the sentiments of 70 million Tamils in the world disregarding the fact that Sri Lanka is a Sinhala Buddhists country.
TNA wanted to dilute Sinhala Buddhist supremacy in Sri Lanka and in particularly in Northern Province which has several hundreds of Buddhists historical and archeological sites across the Province.
