JO writes to Speaker on OMP Bill’s Inconsistency

The Joint Opposition, JO  has written to Speaker of the parliament, Mr. Karu Jayasooriya  on the matter of Office of Missing Person, OMP  Bill’s inconsistency with constitution  and standing orders. The very controversial Bill, widely drafted to frame the War heroes and Patriots as war criminal to please the pro-LTTE Tamil diaspora and  Tamil politicians in the TNA to fulfill the election pact agreed in  infamous Singapore talk by the leaders of present government. The nationally very important and sensitive Bill was passaged in the parliament without taking the vote and very arbitrary manner by the pro-minority government lead by Federalist Ranil and Sirisena.
