Yahapalanaya Tries to Block Patriotic Journalists

The sources reported that officers of Ranil’s infamous FCID has gone to a national newspaper runs by a private owner and had tried to question numbers of journalists about their patriotic works and their foreign official trips.   

Officers of FICD seems to be sent by Sirisena’s office has questioned the source of funds received by the journalists to go to UN and reporting about matters happeing in the so called Human Right Council against Sri Lanka. Only very few journalists reported from the UNHRC about the adverse incidents happening against Sri Lanka while Yahapalana government sponsoring and supporting such incidents.

Yahapalana government came to power with the support of minority voters to divide the country to several Federal States promised to enhance the media freedom in the country. However, since came to power in January 2015 the so called Yahapalana government is harassing the patriotic and moderate journalists who are working toward the nationalism.
