TNA wants to remove Buddhist temple in Madakalapuwa
Pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists political party, TNA parliamentarian S. Yogeswaran, who also co-chairs the Divisional Development Council of Vaakarai division had registered a formal request to remove the Buddhist temple Vakarain in Madakalapuwa. The temple is a over 50 years old historical Buddhist Viharaya in Eastern Sri Lanka.
In the recent past extremist Tamils and pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists political party TNA working tirelessly to remove all Sinhala Buddhists identity from North and East two provinces of Sri Lanka. The objection raised to Vakarai Buddhist Viharaya is the latest such incidents among others in Nagadeepaya, Muhudu Maha Viharaya, Bogahawatte so on.
According to the Constitution of Sri Lanka, Buddhism shall have the ‘foremost’ place in the entire Island as its origin goes backed to over 2,500 years of history which is much before Tamil arrived to Sri Lanka from Tamilnadu as laborers and economic refugees. According to the law of Sri Lanka it is illegal to if anyone attempts to dismantle any religious symbols.
Following request by the Buddhists, the Governor to Eastern Province, former Defence Secretary when Ranil had pease talk with Tamil terrorists, Austin Fernando has instructed the Government officials in Batticaloa to implement necessary measures to take care the rights of displaced Sinhala Buddhists and Buddhist monks.
To pleased the LTTE Tamil terrorist diaspora who supported for the elections no actions has been taken to resettled the internally displaced Sinhala Buddhists in North and Eastern two province by Ranil and Sirisena government.
