Allocate PC Election Funds to Flood Victims – SJP

Sinhaladeepa Jathika Peremuna SJP, a nationalist political party had written to President to re-allocate the funds set for provincial Council election to relief of recent flood victims programmes.

SJP further has stressed that Provincial Council system is a failed mechanism for which JVP opposed in 1987, is not necessary to continue now in Sri Lanka
