Banned Pro-LTTE Tamil Terrorists Global Tamil Forum to talk new government
A banned pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist group called Global Tamil Forum (GTF), an active LTTE terrorist front organization wanted to talk with the newly elected Sri Lankan government and Tamil Diaspora groups. After wiped out of LTTE Tamil terrorism from Sri Lanka the GTF has taken the lead to separatism in Sri Lanka in the global arena.
A statement issued by the pro-LTTE GTF stated that “Sri Lankan voters have overwhelmingly rejected the Rajapaksa and established a minority favour government in Sri Lanka with the help of Tamils up and down the country and Tamil speaking Muslims of Sri Lanka. Final results show, although President Sirisena had support in the South by majority Sinhalese, the overwhelming support he gained from Tamils and Muslims in North, East and Up-country to gain their own objectives like elam and a separate Muslims district.
GTF hope that Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe who is a champion for federalism and so-called united Sri Lanka concept instead of unitary Sri Lanka will reciprocate the support rendered by these communities.
GTF also hope that the new administration will engage the Diaspora who are mainly comprised with ex-LTTE Tamil terrorists, Pro-LTTE Tamil expatriates and sympathizers living in US, EU, Canada, and Australia in good faith and in a meaningful and constructive way to promoter the elam concept in Sri Lanka.
