Buddhist temples, placing statues under Bo-trees: NOT part of Present Government reconciliation efforts – Rajitha

Government Spokesman and Minister, a strong federalist who wanted to divide the country in ethnic line, Rajitha Senaratne said building Buddhist temples, placing Buddha statues under Bo-trees and at junctions by the security forces after defeating the LTTE Tamil terrorists in the North-East had not done any good other than to negate the government’s reconciliation efforts.

LTTE Tamil terrorists and pro-LTTE Tamil politicians with the support of LTTE and Tamil extremists to destroy numbers of Buddhist worship locations in North and East during the LTTE Tamil terrorism time and during present so called reconciliation period.
