Complaint against disgracing Sinhalese

Traitor Bahu; Defamation on Lion Flag

A complaint was lodged at Police Head Quarters yesterday by Pani Wewala and Gallege Punyawardan Aginst Wickramabahu Karunarathna for his defamatory and derogatory remarks about the Lion and the Sinhale Flag.

In the Hiru news telecast 0n 24th it was seen that Wickramabahu Karunarathna making defamatory remarks on the Lion of the Sinhale Flag.
He was saying that National Flag has been distorted, cut and chopped , painted red, and the Lion is made a Dog, and the monks are shouting around it etc.His intention is clear, at this stage when people are rallying round the Sinhale Flag he is really disturbed, He will not be able to divide the country Among races, disintegrate the Nation and ultimately eradicate the Sinhala Nation, He wants to create a defeated mentality among the Sinhalese, He wants to suppress the Sinhalese, by disgracing creating a guilty consciousness among them. It is with this intention he made all these defamatory remarks About the Lion and the Lion Flag. The Lion is the symbol of a great nation with pride and dignity. When he says the Lion is made a dog what he meant is That Sinhalese, the Sinhala Nation is in that mean level. This is demeaning, defamatory, He is intentionally disgracing Sinhala Nation. He made these remarks over a television telecast which is watched by Sinhalese not only in Sri Lanka but all over the World. The shock, pain in mind Was so great ,it was provocative, With large amount of messages received all of those have got the same pain in mind.

He is sure to have intended to provoke Sinhalese and a racial hate among others towards Sinhalese and to create a racial disharmony and conflicts paving way for a Large scale suppression and ultimately enabling partitioning of the country. A police inquiry is sought and request necessary legal action.
