Foreign Minister; Ravindran Karunayakam

Sri Lanka replaced the country’s pro-federalist foreign minister who spearheaded a campaign to prosecute national war heroes and Nationalist in the country  with a Tamil, pro-minority Ravindran Karunayakam who has been alleged with mage corruption in Central Bank of Sri Lanka and running underworld  criminals squads.

In the first Cabinet reshuffle of the pro-minority government since 2015, lead by pro-Tamil Sirisena replaced infamous Mangala Samaraweera as foreign minister and gave him the portfolio of finance and mass media minister who has no minimum qualifications of experience to run the finance matters of the country.

Samaraweera was instrumental in Sri Lanka’s co-sponsoring of a resolution at the United Nations Human Rights Council that called for investigations into members of security forces who eradicated Tamil terrorists from the Island under the so called alleged wartime abuses with assistance of pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist diaspora. He was accused  by nationalists of paving the way for outside interference to prosecute war heroes to gain cheap political advantages.

Sri Lanka’s nearly 26-year civil war ended in 2009 with the government crushing separatist LTTE Tamil terrorists who fought to create an  independent state for one million  Tamils who had been migrated from neighboring Tamilnadu state of India which is the homeland for the 100 million Tamils living globally.

Sri Lanka’s former strongman leader Mahinda Rajapaksa, who led the military campaign, had strongly refused to investigate all kind of  allegations. The U.N. Human Rights Council had adopted a resolution calling for an independent, international investigation on Sri Lanka.
