Global Sri Lankans Staged a Demonstration in Geneva

In response to one sided approach by the UNHRC towards Sri Lanka to balance the geopolitics in the region in international context Global Sri Lankan Forum, GSLF staged a massive demonstration in front of the UNHRC head office in Geneva. Members of GSLF from Italy, France, Israel, Middle East and other European countries participated to the demonstration to express their displeasure on the manner in which handling of Sri Lankan issue in favor of LTTE Tamil terrorists. Demonstrators raised their concerns on force feed federalism in Sri Lanka by the UNHRC which would lead to the separatism to divide the country. Further, raised concern over alleged war crime charges against the war winning Sri Lankan soldiers.

While the demonstration is going-on in front of the UNHRC HQ, UNHRC Representatives were debating on Sri Lankan issue.

The present pro-minority government led by Ranil and Sirisena had agreed with US, EU and India sponsored UN Resolution against Sri Lanka to prosecute the war wining Rana Viruvo and to form a Federal state which would pave the path to LTTE Tamil terrorist dominated county in the North and Eats two Provinces of Sri Lanka.
