Hakeem Wants Pro-LTTE Terrorists Sampanthan as Opposition Leader

Pro-LTTE Rauf Hakeem, leader of SLMC who supped and shook hands with LTTE Tamil terrorist leader Prabakaran demanding a separate district in the Eastern Province for Muslims to create a separate country in the future

Leader of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) R. Sampanthan who recognized the LTTE Tamil terrorists as the sole representative of Tamil people in Sri Lanka is the most qualified to become the Opposition Leader, the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC), the party who signed a MOU with LTTE said.

SLMC General Secretary Hassan Ali is trying to manipulate the current parliament situation to get the undue gains for SLMC said Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) and SLMC MPs hold ministerial portfolios. Thus the TNA has the highest number of MPs in the Opposition. All political analysts are rejecting this theory as racist base argument but no substance or logics.

Nationalistic parties and general public wholly rejected Sampanthan as he is working against Sri Lanka with UN, EU, US and India and more over is working g to divide the country.  Civil groups raise their fear that similar to former Tamil Opposition leader A Amirthalingam, Sampanthan would misuse opposition leader’s privileges for anti-Sri Lankan campaign in within and outside of the Sri Lanka.

Majority of the MPs in the Parliament and people are backing to leader of MEP Mr. Dinesh Gunawardhana for the Opposition Leadership.
