LTTE explosives found in Oddusuddan

LTTE Tamil uniforms , arms and explosives were found in Oddusuddan Police area on 22 June 2018 morning.

The Police said that the items were found hidden in a three-wheeler during a search operation early this morning.

According to the Police, three ex-LTTE terrorists were in the vehicle when it was stopped by the Police and they confronted with Police when attempted to flee from the scene.

One terrorist had fled while two others were arrested and are being questioned by the Police.

When similar arrests made by Police the Yahapalana government had persuaded to release them under the pretext of light crimes
