LTTE Terrorists Backed Mass protests in Jaffna, Mulathive
As the newly-elected pro-elam government and its pro-federalism international friends and partners are while pushing for a domestic war crime probe, hundreds of families of people who claimed to be disappeared during the LTTE Tamil terrorists war, have staged rally backed by LTTE sympathisers and pro-LTTE TNA in northern Jaffna and Mulathive towns demanding an international probe.
The protest commenced from the Jaffna central bus station ended at the Jaffna Divisional Secretariat where they handed over a memorandum to President Maithripala Sirisena, demanding his government to release immediately those LTTE Tamil terrorist criminals in the custody of police.
A similar protest was organised by LTTE sympathisers opposite the District Secretariat in Mulathive, where the protesters demanded an international probe about the war crime by Sri Lankan government. However, partners of Maithripala coalition pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists political party TNA did not raise similar demand for the crime committed by the LTTE Tamil terrorists.
The protests have come exactly a month after the Sirisena government came to power. The Tamils in the war-hit northern and eastern provinces turned out in large numbers and voted to pro-elamist and federalist Ranil and present president Maithripala to get 13A full implemented and to gain the Federal status at the end of it.
Speaking at the rally, former MP of the pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists political party Tamil National Alliance (TNA), Selvarajah Kajenthiran demand to release all LTTE Tamil terrorist criminals immediately without any conditions as a pre-presidential election pact with Ranil and Mangala had in Singapore. Former pro-LTTE terrorist MP further said that “As far as the Tamils are concerned this regime change has become a mere eye-wash. We need full international investigation into what has happened during and after the war and the UNHRC should release its report in March as scheduled,”.
