Minister Swaminathan offers Release of LTTE Tamil Terrorists

Minister of Resettlement, Reconstruction and Hindu Religious Affairs,  D.M. Swaminathan, a Tamil and a sympathizer of LTTE has offered very flexible terms in order to get released the LTTE Tamil terrorists criminals from Sri Lankan prisons. The LTTE Tamil terrorists are serving prison terms  under the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA).

Swaminathan has offered a one-month commuted prison term and one year rehabilitation to LTTE terrorists. However, sources reported that Tamil terrorist has refused the offer.

The pro-minority government led by Ranil and Sirisena now looking for legal options to grant a general presidential amnesty to these Tamil terrorists while score of security personals and Buddhist monks are keeping under the custody without even a bail.

Ranil and Sirisena government released score of LTTE Tamil terrorists as soon as coalition government formed to fulfil the pre-election pact with pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists’ political party TNA.
