More Land for Sinhalese from Northern Province
The Governor of Northern Province, Mr. H.M.G.S Palihakkara, who was one of the eight panellists appointed by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission (LLRC), has instructed the Government Agents (Gas) in the Northern Province to channel more resources to the Sinhala settlements initiated by Mahinda Rajapaksa for the internally displaced Sinhalese in Northern province during the LTTE Tamil terrorists era.
In the meantime, pro-LTTE Tamil National Alliance (TNA) provincial councillor an LTTE sympathiser K.T. Linganathan, has tried to disturb and forcibly enter in to Sinhala village, Kalabogaswewa where over 5,000 helpless Sinhalese are living in a very pathetic conditions.
Pro-LTTE political party the Tamil National Alliance (TNA), which has 13 parliamentarians in the Sri Lankan Parliament and 31 provincial councillors in the North-East is collaborating with present government and are trying to remove all Sinhala Government Agents from both North and East two provinces. Earlier soon after the formation of the present Pro-minority government and pro-western, anti-Sinhala Ranil replaced the Governors of both North and East Provincial Councils as a pre-Presidential election agreement made with LTTE backed TNA.
