More Soldires to Prison for GSP
Yahapalan champion and a leader of Jathika Hela Urumaye (JHU) Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero said that more and more our war heroes will be taken to custody for the sake of GSP concessions by his Yahapalana government.
JHU and its leaders like Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero and Champika Ranawake supported to the common presidential candidate, Maithreepala Sirisena to amend the constitution of Sri Lanka to give more power to North and East two provinces in order to form a Federal State. Since Sirisena become president on 8th January 2015, Yahapalana government has harassed war heroes and Sinhala Buddhists in the Island as a part of the pact with the pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist’s political party TNA. In all these cases JHU maintained their silent support to those anti-nationalist acts by the Yahapalana group lead by Federalist Ranil, Rajitha, Ravinaykam, Mangala, Chandrika and pro-minority Sirisena.
News sources reported that government had mentioned about a hybrid court, Federalism for Tamils and Muslims, and giving more powers to minorities etc. are among other 58 anti-Sri Lankan conditions to regain so called GPS trade concession.
Ven Rathan Thero has criticized the government for co-sponsoring the UNHRC Resolution on Sri Lanka to probe allegations of human rights violation during the final phase of the war with the LTTE Tamil terrorists. However, the same Thero in a leaked voice clip is assuring to Yahapalana Federalists team lead by Rajitha that while Thero is making allegations against Federalism and fighting for the rights of Rana Viruvo let Yahapalna system to be run at the same time.
The track records of most of the leaders of JHU are similar to the behavior of Ven. Rathana Thero.
Udaya Gammanpila, one time a leader of the JHU walked away from the JHU due to its anti-Nationalist and pro-Federalism stance during the presidential election in 2015.
