Muhudu Maha Viharaya, Pothuwil

The construction works of  Pothuwil Muhudu Maha Viharaya has started on 2^nd March  2014. The first phase of  the project will cover construction of  Bodhigara of the temple. The Muhudu Maha Viharaya in pothuwil was attacked several times and partly destroyed by the LTTE Tamil terrorists. Following defeat of LTTE Tamil terrorists from the Sri Lankan soil renovations and new constructions had been commenced by the various civil societies in the region.
