No PC Election in North and East – SJP

The nationalist political party, Sinhala Jathika Peramuna, (SJP) has strongly requested JVP government not to hold the provincial council election without resettled the internally displaced Sinhala people in both North and Eastern two provincials due to Tamil terrorism.

SJP has highlighted in their letter to the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Council and Local Government that over 100,000 Sinhalese were living in the Northern prior 1983 now it has been reduced to less then 200 families.
