Racist Tamil Extremists Blocked Minister’s Attendance at Housing Ceremony for Sinhalese in Jaffna

The racists Tamil extremists and pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists ’s political party TNA members opposed to 50 housing construction scheme launched by National Housing Development Authority (NHDA) under the Ministry of Housing for the Internally Displaced Sinhala people in Nawakkuliya, Jaffna.

The Nawakkuliya village was established by Nationalist Sinhala-Buddhist ‘Sinhala Ravaya’ patriotic organization for those Sinhala people displaced in Jaffna due to Tamil terrorism till May 2009.

The 50 housing project was opposed by pro-LTTE Tamil terrorist’s TNA provincial councillors of Northern Provincial headed by anti-Sinhala racist Chief Minister Vingeshwaram and extremist Tamil members of so called District Coordinating Committee (DCC) in Jaffna meeting, which was co-chaired by Yahapalana SL Deputy Minister Vijayakala Maheswaran who is glorifying the LTTE terrorism in Sri Lanka.

Compared to just 50 houses for internally displaced Sinhala people in Jaffna a deal of 200 houses has been allocated for Tamils in the same area by the pro-minority government lead by federalist Ranil and Sirisena. Both Ranil and Sirisena had not visited the only Nawakkuliya Sinhala village in Jaffna despite of travelled to Jaffna many times to look after the Tamil’s affairs.


The Minister of Housing Sajith Premadasa who was supposed to attend the ceremony as the Chief Guest has cancelled his attendance as NPC Councillors had vowed to protest against the visiting southern leaders showing typical Tamil racism and extremism.
