Ranil/UNP to Sign another Agreement with TNA with demands

The pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists’ political party Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has resolved that any form of support given to the United National Party (UNP) to form a government should be based on a written agreement to address the issues concerning Tamils. Possible demands of the TNA would be that;

1. Release all LTTE Tamil terrorists
2. Merge North and East two provinces,
3. Implement new constitution
4. Form Federal State
5. Remove the foremost place of the Buddhism from the Constitution.

The TNA had said that it would support the UNP to form a government subject to accepting above conditions.

Ranil and UNP signed a similar pro-Federal agreement with TNA in Singapore to change the government of war wining President Mahinda Rajapakssa in 2013.
