Sri Lankan Expats Condemned the National Anthem in Tamil
Sri Lankan for Pease, Unity and Human Rights in Sri Lanka; SPUR in New South Wales in Australia have heavily condemned the unilateral action taken by Ranil and Sirisena approving to sign the National Anthem in Tamil language in the 68th Independence Day celebration on 4th Feb. 2016 in Colombo. SPUR accused the pro-minority government lead by Ranil, Chandrika and Sirisena has grossly violated the inspiration of majority Sri Lankans since over 95% of the Sri Lankans speak Sinahala language. It is further revealed that by dividing the National Anthem in to two languages it has formally divided the society in more deep manner while the government preaching the ethnic reconciliation.
