Taste of Terrorism by Canadians
It is hate to tell that it was a matter of time that Canadians would come face to face with terrorism, and as it did on 22nd October 2014. Canadian never immune to terrorism while cynically slapping other countries, like (specially targeting to get political gain of cheap Tamil votes) Sri Lanka, for fighting LTTE Tamil terrorism, and wanting to bring those who fought to give the right-to-life to 22 million of its peoples by eliminating the most ruthless terrorists in the world, the LTTE Tamil terrorists backed by the Tamil diaspora in Canadian soil, in front of an International Criminal Court for alleged human rights violations during the bleeding 27 year Tamil separatist terrorism war. It was one terrorist in action and the whole Canada’s capital Ottawa was in a lockdown. It might wonder what hundreds of Tamil Tiger terrorists did to all of Sri Lanka as their terrorism was a daily affair for the last 27 years in that case Canada did nothing.
It is saddened by the unnecessary cruel death of Policeman, and as all Sri Lankan did the same for 27 years for thousands of Sri Lankan families who lost their loved ones at the hands of the LTTE Tamil Tiger terrorists supported by Tamil diaspora in US, Canada, and EU.
Canada will and has changed as of October 22, 2014. Prime Minister Stephen Harper signalled that there will be changes in three specific areas related to the police and security; surveillance, detention and arrest. We don’t blame him and we hope he won’t be challenged in parliament for tampering with civil liberties. Hope, Prime Minister Harper will respect the so called Human Rights which he preaching to the world, specially to Sri Lanka to protect his Tamil’s block votes.
Prime Minister Harper repeated the same words that Sri Lanka’s President Mahinda Rajapaksa often said, “We will not be intimidated. We will be vigilant, but we will not run scared. We will be prudent, but we will not panic.” we sincerely hope now with this terrorism experience Canada will respect Sri Lanka’s actions to get rid of their terrorists, the Tamil Tigers, who perfected the suicide bomb having inventing the suicide body pack, and detonated 388 suicide bombs in Sri Lanka killing and maiming for life thousands of innocent civilians.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his Minister of Foreign Affairs, John Baird, should take a deep breath when dealing with Sri Lanka the way she deals with Tamil Tiger terrorism and not get into hissy-fits, like boycotting the Commonwealth Summit in Colombo. And they should stop flirting with Canadians and parliamentarians who are Tamil Tiger sympathizers, especially the ones in the Greater Toronto Area, as it will someday pounce and bite their hands.
