US Officials Met LTTE Tamil Terrorists in Washington DC – Maithreepala to Meet Pro-LTTE GTF in UN?
The secret conclave had been held by UN Assistance Secretary for South Asaia Ms. Nisha Biswal in Washington,DC with representatives of the Sri Lanka Government and representatives of organizations that funded the Tamil terrorists Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE), which group was designated as an international terrorist organization per UN Security Council Resolution Number 1373 of September 2001 and similarly designated previously by the US authorities in 1996 which continues to remain in force.
According to the UNSC Resolution and the US Authorities, any group , association or organization which provides funds or other material support to a designated terrorist group is likewise considered a terrorist organization by virtue of the support it provides, thereby making them subject to being designated as a terrorist movement which is banned from operating in any jurisdiction.
In the circumstances, it is incomprehensible how the USA could have talks with representatives of known Tamil terror organizations that funded the three decade long terrorism on the part of the LTTE which were also designated as terrorist groups by the Sri Lankan authorities in terms of the UNSC Resolution No. 1373 of September 2001.
It is shocking to find representatives of the Sri Lankan Government also participating in this secret conclave. The purpose of the meeting seems an attempt to redraw the Map of Sri Lanka to accommodate the demands of the Tamil separatist groups that funded terrorism in Sri Lanka and also earmark territory for yet another foreign military base for the USA behind the backs of the Sri Lankan public?
Sources are speculating that Maithreepala Sirisena who is in US to address the UN assembly possibly will meet LTTE Tamil terrorist group operating under the banner of Global Tamil Forum, GTF to discuss the blue print of Federalism in Sri Lanka as a part of political pact agreed with Pro-LTTE Tamil political party TNA in Singapore in 2014.
