Victory Celebration in Jaffna
While all Sri Lankans celebrated another unforgettable anniversary of the victory over LTTE Tamil terrorism on 18th and 19th May 2014, the governor of the Northern province, Major General (retd) G.A. Chandrasiri grandly commemorated victory in Jaffna. The function was held at historical site of Nandikadal to mark the eradication of LTTE Tamil terrorism from Sri Lankan soil.
All ethnic groups joined with the governor of Northern province to mark this victory date of the Sri Lankan history. Mayor of Jaffna Municipal Council (JMC) Yogeswary Patkunam and other regional politicians attended to this spectaculars event.
Family members of war heroes were also participated to the function
