Yahapalana Officials Cheered for Vijayakala Speech

At the speech made by pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists Vijayakala Maheswaran in Jaffna calling for the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) terrorists again for a ‘violence free’ North and East regions number of senior Yahapalana Government employees including Divisional Secretaries, Samurdhi officers, Grama Niladharis, Teachers, and many other government servants  who were among the audience  were cheering and whistling when the pro-terrorists  speech was delivered by the former UNP State Minister of Children and Women’s Affairs.

Two cabinet ministers, Tilak Marapana, one time Minister of Defence who very poorly dealt with the LTTE Tamil terrorists and alleged corrupted charges held Vajira Abeygunawardena and pro-LTTE Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswaran were present at the event

Jaffna District Secretary N. Vedanayahan had sent letters to senior Yahapalana government officials seeking answers to what he calls “unruly pro-terrorism behaviour” among those who cheered when the former State Minister made the call for LTTE Tamil terrorists.

UNP governed Yahapalana government still take strict disciplinary actions against Vijayakala.
