Anti-Sinhala Ranil Threaten to Nationalistic Media

Pro-elamist federalist  Ranil Wickremesinghe says he plans to summon the owners of local media to warn them against attempting to create communal disharmony in the country. Speaking at an event in Kurunegala, where his uncle was a Catholic Bishop, Ranil said that he will also invite media rights groups to attend the meeting for them to raise concerns they have over the owners of the local media.

He also urged the public to stage an “occupy” style protest at the office of any newspaper if it promotes hatred among communities. Sources reported that this approach is pro-separatism and creating a terrorism and violence environment within the society under disguise of so called yahapalanaya.

Pro-elamist  Prime Minister apparently upset due the fact that some Sinhala  newspapers have been  exposed in their reports that there is an attempt by the LTTE to revive its terrorism activities in Sri Lanka. This is a true fact which Ranil wanted to cover under the so called communal harmony.

Ranil is infamous among the majority Sri Lankans for his pro-LTTE/elamist stance and federal mind set. He has publicly stated that he will fully implement the 13A and will give self-governing status to the minority Tamils in the North and East two provinces which ultimately lead to the separation in Sri Lanka . Further, his anti-Sinhala cabinet Foreign Minister who was also a campaigner for anti-war front in favour of LTTE Tamil terrorists declared that all land around army camps in HSZ would be withdrawn from the security forces.
