Former Defence Minister Accepted Millennium City is as Ranil’s Blunder

Sri Lanka’s Law and Order minister Tilak Marapana to whom the Island’s Police are reporting blasted that the raid on Avant Garde, private maritime security company similar it to the “Millennium city” raid carried out by Ranil lead UNP government that came to power in 2002. Following this exposure of the country’s top secrete antit-terrorist intelligence unit over hundreds of security and intelligence officeres were killed by the LTTE Tamil Terrorists.

Rajapaksa’s government had subsequently criticized the raid as a betrayal of military intelligence units which had maintained a secret safe house within the Millennium City complex in Athurugiriya. Ranil who was anti-patriotic mind set betrayal entire Sinhala community by singing a one sided so called Cease Fire Agreement with LTTE Tamil terrorists.

Although Marapana criticised the Millennium City raid, he was in fact the defence minister at that time with ant-Sinhala Ranil’s government.

Speculation is going that both Marapana who is Minister of Law and Order, and Wijedasa Rajapaksha; Minster of Legal Affairs has solid hand in the Avant Grade matters. In number cases Wijedasa had been accused for giving huge funds to JVP who are currently working towards to interests of the UNP lead government.  Marapana had been retained earlier in the year by Avant Garde as its attorney.
