STF Arrest Tamli Militant Suspects Jaffana City

The STF,  a full-fledged higly professional military arm of  Sri Lanka Police who was directly engaged in destroying and wiping out of LTTE Tamil terrorists from the East as well as in Vanni during the war with Tamil terrorists has arrested Tamil militant suspects in Jaffna.  Tamil suspects  are being detained for further investigation for posible link to reviewing of LTTE Tamil terrorist group with the support of local Tamil politicians and Tamil political parties such as TNA and with pro-LTTE diaspora living in US, UK, EU, Canada and Australia.

Following the saga of Gopi who masterminded the initial plan to revive the LTTE Tamil terrorism again in Sri Lanka the newly set up ‘Zonal Commander’  security network  of the STF has been actively working against any such activities which  would posible to damage the national and regional security.

After the wiping out of LTTE Tamil terrorists and terrorists leadership from Sri Lankan soil in  May 2009, highly trained and disciplined  STF commandos has been positioned in all the districts in the Northern and Eastern two provinces to maintain the law and order.
