Three Sinhala students Injured at University of Jaffna
Sources reported that three Sinhala students of the University of Jaffna injured due to ongoing sectarian violence between the politically motivated Tamil extremist students. Violence fighting are still going one two groups of Tamil extremists’ students.
Some of these politically motivated extremists’ Tamil students has hoist black flags in and around the university premises during Sri Lankan Independence day celebration on 4th February 2016.
Following withdrawal of security forces camps and intelligence operations from in and around University of Jaffna by the current pro-minority government lead by Ranil and Sirisena, the premises has been a breeding ground for the Tamil extremist activities. The University administration has admitted there are several extremist behaviors by the Tamil students within the University premises.
Certain Tamil extremist politically motivated Tamil students instigating ethnic clash between Sinhala and Tamil communities by attacking the Sinhala students in the University.
In the past, University of Jaffna was a safe haven for the LTTE Tamil terrorists and was a breeding ground for the Tamil terrorism.
Further, in the past all Sinhala students were attacked and chased away by some extremist Tamil students from the University. Until 2011, no Sinhala students were allowed to enter the University of Jaffna by Tamil extremist while tens of thousands of Tamil students are studying in the other part of the Island.
