TNA wants Release of Tamil Terrorists amid of COVID-19

The pro-LTTE Tamil terrorists political party has started their usual manipulations amid of Covid-19.  A former Tamil National Alliance (TNA) parliamentarian, racist and extremist M.A. Sumanthiran, who manipulated with Yahapalana government to create a Federal state in Sri Lanka to pave the path to establish so called Tamil eelam called on Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa on 12th May,  Tuesday  to hand over a detailed list of  90 Tamil terrorists who are  serving long jail sentences and are in remand prison waiting for court proceedings, requesting that them to be considered for release immediately.

Out of the 90 Tamil terrorists, 47 are convicted of various offences and have exhausted all avenues of appeal while the rest are in remand prisons with some cases under the legal proceedings.

The pro-LTTE TNA member requested the Prime Minister, Mahinda Rajapaksa to intervene to facilitate a pardon for some of the convicted prisoners through President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.

The previous Yahapalana government ran by pro-federalist Prime Minister Ranil and pro-minority President Sirisena released several numbers of hardcore Tamil terrorists for cheap political gains from the TNA as a pre-agreed arrangement made in Singapore with LTTE/TNA and UNP in 2013.
