Tribute to fallen heroes
The family members of fallen intelligence officers of the Sri Lanka Army break down in tears when floral wreaths were placed on the monuments at the headquarters of the Sri Lanka Army Intelligence Regiment which was opened on 31st January 2014 with the participation of Defence Secretary Gotabaya Rajapaksa in Karandeniya, Galle.
Altogether, 64 intelligence officers sacrificed their lives due to the war, and 14 of them were Tamil officers
